Inverters (12V to 230V) |
|
|
An inverter is an electronic circuit that converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). For example you can take a 12v battery and turn to into household mains. Inverters are used in a wide range of applications, from small switching power supplies in computers, to large electric utility applications that transport bulk power. The inverter is so named because it performs the opposite function of a transformer / rectifier.
